![]() ![]() Click the Can View button to enable your students to view this page. Scroll down this page until you see the name of the page that has the Zoom Learning Tool on it. Click the Students role on the right side of the screen and you'll see Role: Students as mentioned below.Ĥ. Click the Permissions tab as shown below:ģ. From the left sidebar of the course where you'd like to make the Zoom Learning Tool visible, click the Course Manager link, as shown below.Ģ. Remember that your students cannot see your Zoom class appointments (live or pre-recorded) until you make the page with the Zoom Learning Tool VISIBLE to them. Make sure to: Remind your students that they will access pre-recorded lectures from the Cloud Recordings tab and that you will let them know when they are available! For live meetings, they will click the Join button to join your live class meetings, but for the pre-recorded class meetings, they won't be able to join the placeholder meeting links because they won't have the password. Your students, once you make the page visible, will see a screen like this with your live AND pre-recorded class meeting dates on the Upcoming Meetings tab. You will receive an email when your file recorded lecture is ready. A several-hour recording will take several (if not twice as much) time to be ready in the cloud for your students, so please plan accordingly. Keep in mind that the longer the recording, the more time it takes for the file to be ready. When you are finished with your pre-recorded lecture, simply click the End Meeting button and End Meeting for All choice, and your pre-recorded lecture will save to the cloud. Simply return to this page (click the placeholder link for the meeting appointment) and click the Start this Meeting button. Once you have saved the pre-recorded class appointment, you will be brought back to the Meeting Details screen like this. (f) Click the Save button to save your pre-recorded meeting placeholder. (e) Check the box to record the meeting automatically in the cloud. (d) Make sure to turn on a meeting password so that students don't end up in your meeting while you are pre-recording! Note: This date and time don't actually matter since you'll be pre-recording. Select the meeting date and start time (See "c" below). It's important that you make it clear to students that this is not a link they will use because while this will appear on the Upcoming Meetings tab, they will never actually use this link.
