Following the collapse of the World Trade Center, Vin coordinated a team of exposure assessment experts to help triage the intake of outreach workers. He created the National Lead Abatement Council in 1990 to foster professionalism and industry standards. He served as Chief of NYC Drinking Water Quality in the 1980's, and was instrumental in establishing the water quality standards for the NYC resevoirs. ![]() He graduated from Hunter College with a Master’s in Environmental Health followed by a doctorate in Public Health from Columbia University in 1986.
